According to the Charlotte Business Journal, Cedar Fair will invest $50 million in its Carowinds park over the next three years.

While Cedar Fair has not disclosed specifically what the $50 million will go towards, the investment will bring new rides and attractions, improved food options, and possibly an expanded Boomerang Bay water park.
The expansion has economic benefits for the community—it will also include the hiring of 270 new seasonal workers and 15 new full-time employees.
