If you need something to brighten your day, keep reading: Jennifer Lobb lost her mother’s high school class ring at Kentucky Kingdom 16 years ago while riding the park’s Blue Beard’s Bounty swinging ship ride.
The park never found the ring, so Jennifer and her mother slowly lost hope that they would ever see the ring again… until recently when mechanic Tim McNutt spotted something shiny while cleaning the ride in preparation for the park’s reopening. That shiny object was a class ring.
After contacting the high school inscribed on the ring, Jennifer Lobb and her mother were reunited with the ring.
Crews are working to reopen Kentucky Kingdom next year. The park last operated in 2009.
This is great publicity for the park. Hopefully this great customer service will continue once the park reopens.
