While at Kings Island on Wednesday, I took some time to look around the old Son of Beast area. The first things I noticed were the 30 or so footers now in place. Could these be coaster footers? My guess is yes because of how spread out they are.
There are two spots along the construction fence that you can peek through. This is what greets you at one of them:
There are actually three of these at the site, the others are standing up on the footers. Any ideas on what these are hinting at?
Here you can get a better look at the footers. Looks like maybe a steel coaster? A B&M possibly? Or something else?
More footers about to be poured.
These signs are posted about every 10 feet along the fence.
Here’s another clue I found.
The only part of Son of Beast left is its station, which is sporting this new sign. Wolf Pack? Any ideas on this?
So what does 2014 hold for Kings Island? We can’t tell yet but it sure is fun to get some sneak peeks behind the fence for now! Hopefully more information will come out soon!
Check out some video I shot of the site:

The son of beast’s station was converted into a Halloween haunt attraction called the wolf pack.
You use WordPress, right? I do too, and I would like to know how you made your posts into little snippets that could be clicked on instead of just having a blog with the full posts on the main page. Can you tell me?
Hi Jonathan, I think this may help: http://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_the_Read_More
Just a brain storming thought after seeing pics of the scarecrows. It may be a winged coaster and the scarecrows could represent the creature from Jeepers Creepers movie. The creature does have wings and fly. I believe in Jeepers Creeper 2, the movie started out as him being a scarecrow. Hmmmmm.
King’s Island has announced on their Facebook page that the new 2014 coaster project will be unveiled on August 8, 2013 at 10PM just after their nightly fireworks show.
