Six Flags Great America confirmed rumors today when they formally announced via Facebook that their Batman: The Ride would run backwards beginning May 4, 2013.
The coaster will run backwards for a limited time, so ride it this summer while you can.

Well, I haven’t ridden Batman: The Ride at all, so I don’t have any idea what the difference would be, but I think that it would be fun and scary. What’s your opinion, John?
