Jet Star 2 was originally built at Riverfront Park In Spokane, Washington for Expo ‘74. It operated from May to November of that year before being relocated to Lagoon where it has been thrilling riders since 1976. Originally manufactured by the Anton Schwarzkopf Company, the track was partially rebuilt by Fabri-Weld in 1991.

The ride is unique in the fact it uses an electric spiral lift instead of the traditional chain to pull vehicles to the highest point, 45 feet in the air.

Riders sit in single file, up to six people for a total capacity of 900 riders per hour. Setpoint  (just up the road in Ogden, Utah) built and installed a new control system in 1998.
