Casino Pier Deconstruction

Crews at the severely damaged Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, New Jersey are removing damaged attractions so that the pier can hopefully reopen in time for the 2013 summer season. The Casino Pier owners are keeping everyone updated through the pier’s Facebook page. I’ve shared some of the update photos below:

Crews are dismantling the Wild Mouse coaster which originally opened in 1999.

The Bumper Cars building will also soon meet its demise.

The Jet Star coaster remains at sea, but will in fact be removed.

The last piece of Wild Mouse track was removed on Friday.
