Lake Winnepesaukah (more commonly known as “Lake Winnie”), located outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee, will open a 5-acre waterpark in 2013, the park announced today. The park’s Facebook reports that “…this multi-million dollar expansion that will include: a lazy river, a wave lagoon, flume body slides, enclosed tube slides, lily pad crossing and a splash park for toddlers!”
The above graphic shows an overview of the planned waterpark. For a 5-acre waterpark, it looks like there will be plenty for guests to do.
The Chattanoogan reports that construction is expected to begin in January so that the waterpark is ready for guests by the summer of 2013. The park says that it will release more specific details about the addition in the coming months.
