I’m not so sure what to think of this one. A video recently posted on YouTube shows some colorful pieces of steel near Apocalypse at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
UPDATE: Some are saying these could be for a slingshot-style ride as seen here.

Some are speculating that these could be for the rumored “Full Throttle” coaster that may open in 2013, while others are guessing these pieces are destined for a less-major attraction such as a SkyScreamer tower or water slide. On closer inspection, it appears that the grey-looking pieces are in fact ladders. That doesn’t necessarily rule out any of the above guesses, though.
Only time will tell, but we can say one thing with certainty: this will be one colorful ride. Hopefully the park will receive another shipment of pieces soon that will give us a better glimpse of this mystery attraction.
What do you think these pieces will lead to? A coaster? Water slide? SkyScreamer? Something else? Share in the comments section below! We love hearing what you have to say.
I think that they’re going to build a megacoaster. And then they have a second surprise; skyscreamer or slingshot. Or it will be a waterslide for Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. But I think that they have a second attraction for 2013
why would they build a magacoaster/hypertwister coaster when theve already got goliath
Those pieces are almost a fact to be a sling shot ride they’re building to possible fill in the old “deja vu” space. this sling shot ride was bought from funtime group. Also “full throttle” may be the name of this ride instead of the new coaster. heres a link: http://www.thecoasterguy.com/index.php/2012/07/27/more-sling-shot-pieces-arrive-at-six-flags-magic-mountain/#more-4154
