Superman Rises at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
Move over Dark Knight, there’s a new superhero rising! Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is working diligently to make sure that the new Superman: Ultimate Flight coaster is opened as soon as possible, and it’s looking spectacular so far.

The park update their Facebook with the above photo and caption that states: “Work on SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight is non-stop now as these two tracks take a significant upturn. Looking good!”

“The first train was installed this morning and it’s a beauty! If you visit the park this weekend, be sure to check out the construction progress on SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight!”
This coaster looks much more visually interesting than I thought it would. Things should really get interesting once the sky loop section of the coaster is completed. Hopefully the park will continue to keep us updated on the construction of Superman: Ultimate Flight. The 150-foot-tall Premier launched coaster is expected to open later this summer.
