The Galveston Island Pleasure Pier will open this summer, and construction is moving along rapidly to make sure that the pier is ready for guests. We’ve really enjoyed following the progress via Facebook, and recently several new construction shots were uploaded for the world to see.
Pirate’s Plunge will no doubt be a popular attraction on those hot, Texas summer days.
Iron Shark’s lift hill has already been topped off, and it’s basically all down hill from there (no pun intended).
See… how fast was that? I can’t wait to see this mass of twisted steel complete.
The ticket building is looking great.
I’m a sucker for park skyline shots, and Galveston Pleasure Pier will have a great skyline once everything is finished.
