Twist at Le Pal Looks Like…

I recently came across a photo of Twist at Le Pal, an amusement park in France, and, at first glance, mistook it for Sierra Sidewinder at Knott’s Berry Farm. I’ve posted some photos of Twist from Mack’s website below so that no one else makes the same mistake:

Twist opened in 2011 at Le Pal which is located in Auvergne, France.

The layout seems much more twisted than Sierra Sidewinder’s.

Twist features the standard Mack spinning coaster trains (4 cars seating 4 people each).

The coaster stands 72 feet tall.

And there you have it. Next time you see a picture of a coaster that looks like Sierra Sidewinder, make sure it isn’t Twist at Le Pal. Although the lack of other coasters in the background should be a dead giveaway.
