Phantasialand Photos

I recently found some photos of Phantasialand, a beautfil park in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany that a member posted at our old forums back in 2007.

“Sand-coloured towers rise up to the sky, interspersed with reed roofs and exotic plants” inside the park’s “Deep in Africa” section. The area’s flagship attraction, Black Mamba, is  a compact B&M inverted coaster that opened in 2006.

The coaster stands 85 feet tall and is heavily themed. The track dives in and out of rustic structures while inverting four times.

Pictured above is the “Deep in Africa” section.

Talocan, a Huss Top Spin, opened in 2007.

Incredible theming is a common theme at Phantasialand.

Mystery Castle is an Intamin Bungee Drop ride which follows a castle walkthrough.

I think of it as Six Flags drop tower meets Tower of Terror.

It’s easy to forget that you’re inside an amusement park at Phantasialand, especially inside the “Berlin” area of the park.

Yep, you’re still at Phantasialand.

Dampfkarussell, the park’s double-decker carousel is beautifully themed.

I believe this is Disney quality.

A monorail runs through the park.

Wildwash Creek is the park’s log flume.

The full name of this coaster is Colorado Adventure – The Michael Jackson Thrill Ride.

Inside the land of Wuze you’ll find Winjas.

Winjas is a pair of Maurer Söhne spinning coasters.

Both stand 57 feet tall.

And both are indoors.

It’s not an amusement park without a frog hopper.

Wupi- & Wözlland…bumper cars of course.

I highly suggest you check out Phantasialand’s website to learn more about the park.
