Orlando 2010: Epcot Trip Report

While there aren’t many attractions at Epcot to keep thrill-seekers’ adrenaline pumping, a day at Epcot is sure to be an entertaining one.

Today was no different.

I like Spaceship Earth a lot more without the goofy signage.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the updated Spaceship Earth ride itself! I felt it was a much-needed update that made the ride a bit more relevant and entertaining.

Apparently I’m black in the future!

Soarin’, on the other hand, is in need of an update! It’s only wishful thinking, though. I wish we could glide over some other parts of the world.

Hot air balloons in The Land pavillion.

Test Track’s queue definitely keeps you busy while you wait. I seem to see something new everytime I wait in line!

I waited for a long time to get this shot!

I was disappointed that the restaurant inside the Mexico pavillion had changed the menu into a more upscale style. I’m a quesadilla and burrito kind of guy. Hopefully the restaurant under construction outside the pavillion will have a more traditional selection.

Hi China!

We slowly make our way around the lagoon. I don’t know what we’d do if they added more countries!

A statue at the German pavillion.

The German pavillion is one of my favorites.

Unfortunately I did not have anything major to celebrate, so I celebrated life the entire day.

She’s a beauty.

Oh Canada, why have I never explorer you before?

If you ever get bored at Epcot, there’s bound to be some critters nearby that you can get pretty close to. It’s like Epcot meets Animal Kingdom!

Before you know it, more animals will begin to appear!

No thanks, Mission: SPACE.

America’s always the centerpiece.

Where did the Beatles go?

We returned to the German pavillion to wait for Illuminations to begin.

Kaboom!

Fire + Water + Fireworks + Lasers + Music = Awesome.

Goodbye, Epcot! It’s been fun!

Thanks for reading! We are heading to Epcot tomorrow. Remember, you can receive live updates from the parks here or follow us on Twitter!
