Sky Rocket Goes Vertical

The new Sky Rocket coaster premiering (pun intended) at Kennywood this summer has finally gone vertical! Kennywood Connection has the latest photo update. You can see that all of the supports put up so far were done in less than four days. Its been rumored the park wants the ride open by Memorial Day weekend, which seemed an impossible target a few days ago but if they can keep up this rate of assembly and work through weekends that might actually be feasible. We’ll let you know as soon as we find out when the park plans on opening the ride. Check out the pictures!
