From WJHG, it appears that the closed Miracle Strip Amusement Strip in Panama City, Florida will reopen in March of 2010, though in a small form. The smaller park will open around the Pier Park open shopping venue where the park’s carousel has been operating for quite some time. Those behind the reopening say that if all goes well, the park could be expanded over time.
This is perfect timing, as the park’s former Starliner coaster is now for sale at the recently-closed Cypress Gardens! Seems like a great opportunity to move the coaster back to its hometown.
