I was skeptical of Holiday World getting a large new attraction next year until I saw this in the newsletter emailed yesterday:
“Yes, we will have a new…thing…for next year…
Our big announcement will be Thursday, August 13, at 11 am CDT…
Park president Will Koch will proudly unveil his latest plan for making everyone smile. He’s been working on this for several years and has been talking about it even longer. In fact…it’s the second largest ride project in the park’s history”
Second largest project behind the Voyage? My first thought is steel coaster but the Voyage only cost 6.5 million so that would make it a pretty cheap or small steel coaster. Maybe a Proslide rocket or splash battle attraction for the waterpark? Your thoughts?
While it would be awesome to see a steel coaster, I have a feeling it will most likely be something for the water park. But perhaps not! It will be interesting to see what happens on August 13th!
Tweet from Paula “A week till our 2010 new-ride announcement. Trying to get Will to explain the technology a little more in depth than ‘it’s magic.'” A ProSlide HydroMagnetic Rocket anyone?
If you look at the latest Holiblog post you’ll notice in one of the pictures you can see the Proslide logo (it’s upside down) which practically confirms a rocket slide.
