What is a podcast?
A podcast is sort of like a radio talk show. We talk about news, chat about roller coasters and amusement parks and generally just have a good time.
How can I call in to be a part of the show?
Easy. We use a popular recording website to let callers in on the action called TalkShoe.com. Sign-up for an account over there and head over to our series page. Our call ID is 76329.
On Tuesday between 10 and 11 PM EST, call (724) 444-7444, and when prompted for the Call ID, use 76329. We’ll see you’re calling and (if you’re nice) answer and hang out with you for a little bit.
I’d like to guest host an episode, can I do that?
Definitely! We’re always up to have a guest on the show to talk to, send an e-mail using the Contact page here at Coaster101 and the staff will hook you up with one of our hosts to setup your guest host spot.
You guys sound like amateurs and are kinda weird. Why should I listen?
Here’s the thing. We know we’re weird, we’re a bunch of coaster nerds. We want you guys to listen and suggest things that we can do differently with the podcast, new features, new shorts, etc. Most of all, we want you guys to join in and talk to us about the amusement industry, so even if you absolutely hate us, we’d still love it if you called in so we can chat about how to improve our show.
How can I download the show?
The only way to have the show’s .mp3 file on your computer is to use iTunes, a popular piece of music software I’m sure everyone’s heard of. You can search for us in the iTunes Store, or you can just click here to go directly to our page. If you use something else to listen to podcasts, let us know so we can make a feed for that, too.
