Dubai Parks and Resorts have announced the opening dates of the parks, lodging and entertainment components of the massive development.

Opening October 31, 2016:
- Legoland Dubai
- Riverland retail, dining and entertainment district
Opening November 15, 2016:
- Bollywood Parks Dubai
- Legoland Water Park
- Lapita Hotel
Opening December 16, 2016:
- Motiongate Dubai

Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of DXB Entertainments PJSC, the owner of Dubai Parks and Resorts, said: “Building the Middle East’s largest integrated theme park destination in three years has been an incredible experience.”

Initially slowed by the Great Recession of the late 2000s, Dubai Parks and Resorts officially broke ground in 2013.
