#ThanksThunderRoad Celebration Underway at Carowinds

On May 23, Carowinds announced that Thunder Road would close for good on July 26. With just under three weeks until the iconic coaster’s closure, Carowinds is doing a few special things to commemorate the coaster’s 39 years of rides across the North Carolina and South Carolina border.

From now until July 26, the first 100 riders will receive a FREE commemorative Thunder Road button.
