Six Flags over Georgia’s Batman Goes Backwards in 2015

For a limited time beginning March 14, 2015, Six Flags over Georgia will reverse the trains of Batman: The Ride, offering a completely different ride experience — as many other Six Flags parks have done with their Batman coasters over the past few years.

“We are excited to offer our guests an incredible and gravity-defying ride on one of the park’s most popular attractions,” said Six Flags Atlanta Properties park president Dale Kaetzel. “This twist is the first of several new experiences coming this season to Gotham City.”

Six Flags over Georgia’s Batman opened in 1997 and has given more than 16 million rides.

But the reversed Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster isn’t the only new ride experience guests will find at the park in 2015. Later in the season, the park will also debut two new attractions in the Gotham City section of the park:

  • The Joker Chaos Coaster – “Face off with 23 other riders, rocketing seven stories in the air, soaring through a bedlam of loops, suspended upside-down for a ravaging thrill;”
  • Harley Quinn Spinsanity – “Experience the thrill of spinning, twisting and rolling through a cycle of classic family fun.”

The park opens for the 2015 season on March 14. For more information, visit the park’s website.
