The brand new Hotgo Park in Liaoning, China is home to The Gravity Group’s latest wooden creation, “High Heat.”
The twisted wooden coaster stretches 4,000 feet and features a top speed of 58 mph. Take a spin on the custom terrain coaster below:
The coaster was built by frequent Gravity Group collaborator Martin & Vleminckx.
What are your thoughts on Hot Go Park’s wooden coaster? How does it compare to other Gravity Group designs? Discuss in the comments section below.
It’s definitely not up there with the voyage and dauling dragons, but it looks alright at fun. I would have liked a faster paced ride though.
While the ride itself looks good the trains ruin the ride for me as I can’t stand how hideous the Timberliners look (IMHO at least). Add the fact that this doesn’t have a single invert or anything that really requires them to be used (there’s still no excuse for what they did to Hades the way I see it), and with how Hades 360 was in the bottom 10 of the Mitch Hawker poll last year they don’t improve rides alone. It’s just one thing that I can’t overlook at all. It’s a pretty big stain on this ride in my book.
For those of you who question why I dislike the Timberliners so much is because of their styling, I personally find them to be too new and don’t look right on a traditional wooden coaster. Rocky Mountain doesn’t apply because of how theirs are anything but traditional.
Seems like a quite impressive coaster!
I defiantly agree that their timber liner trains look very out of place on their coasters. But the ride looks very fun. It reminds me a lot of the Ravine Flyer at Waldameer.
