If you’ve been on the internet (or just near it) within the last week, you’ve probably seen an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video.
For those unfamiliar with the social media sensation of 2014, people are dumping buckets of ice water on themselves, and then challenging others to do the same or donate $100 toward a cure for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Celebrities, politicians and other well-known names have been participating in the craze.
