Is it 2015 yet? As coaster enthusiasts anxiously await other parks to announce their 2015 plans, track for Holiday World’s recently announced Thunderbird launched wing coaster is already arriving at the park.
The park tweeted the arrival of the first sections of Bolliger & Mabillard wing coaster track, which explains the relatively early announcement:
This is why we announced Thunderbird last week. Sort of hard to hide 29 truckloads of track and supports! #HW2015 pic.twitter.com/MJ8RrINp1w

The rustic orange track and brown supports will soon rise as the world’s first B&M launched wing coaster begins to take shape.
That’s quite a lengthy piece of track!
The 140-foot-tall wing coaster features a 0-60mph launch in 3.5 seconds as well as four inversions and several “near-miss” elements.
