“Santa Claus is taking a vacation in The Sweetest Place On Earth again this year during Christmas in July. The good news for Hersheypark summer guests is that they will be treated to a 12-day preview of the holiday season, complete with lots of sweet deals, from July 14 to July 25.”

“Last year, we celebrated our first Christmas in July and our guests told us that they really enjoyed seeing Santa and being able to break up the heat of the summer with holiday festivities,” said Hersheypark General Manager Kevin Stumpf. “We are happy to be hosting the event for our guests again this year.”

While the Christmas spirit will be present throughout the event, expect some surprises for the summertime version:

“The season will sparkle throughout select areas of Hersheypark with holiday lights, candy canes, Christmas trees and wreaths. Guests can share their wish lists with Santa whose usual red suit has been replaced by his Hawaiian vacation attire. Santa will join the lovable Hershey’s Product characters, dressed in their festive best, to meet, greet, and pose for photos.”

If you’re craving Christmastime cuisine, the park has you covered:

“Park guests can get a jump on the season and decorate Christmas cookies. A traditional Christmas dinner is available, as well as, red and green soft serve ice cream, holiday beverages, festive cupcakes and cake pops which will all be added to standard Park fare during the 12 days.”

Even the animals will be in the holiday spirit:

“Across the Hersheypark bridge at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, lighted displays and seasonal carnivore activities await guests.”
