If you think that harsh winter weather conditions are slowing down Banshee construction at Kings Island, think again. The B&M inverted coaster is growing each day, thanks to the dedicated construction workers.
A spokesman from the park reports: “Construction of the world’s longest inverted roller coaster, ‘Banshee,’ continues to move forward in the snow and cold at Kings Island.”
The above photo shows a construction crew working on the coaster’s station.
Luckily, many of the major elements have already been put in place: “Work crews have completed the following track elements on Banshee: lift hill, curved drop, dive loop, loop interacting with the lift and zero-G-roll.”
But Banshee wasn’t the only Kings Island attraction affected by the snowfall. The park shared some beautiful snowfall photos on their Facebook:
I’d love to walk down International Street at this time of year.
Viking Fury isn’t going anywhere if that pond is frozen.
The normally white Racer doesn’t look drastically different after a major snowfall.
This photo of the park’s carousel could easily double as a postcard.

I imagine that a snowy ride on the Beast would be beautiful, but, of course, brutally cold.
Don’t forget the Banshee construction cam, which allows you to watch the coaster rise from your computer screen.
