November is the month of giving, and tomorrow, Nov. 14, 2013, Universal Studios Hollywood will hold their 9th-annual Day of Giving where hundreds of the theme park’s employees volunteer for non-profit organizations.
For this year’s “Operation School Bell,” 250 homeless elementary students from 36 area schools will go on a field trip to the theme park. They will receive a pair of shoes, clothes and school supplies which the volunteers will help them pick out. After, the students will spend the day at the theme park.
Additionally, volunteer employees will be going off-site for the day to help out at many non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area.
Kudos to Universal Studios Hollywood for giving back to their community for this year’s holiday season.
