After sorting through over 5,000 entries, Silverwood Theme Park has revealed the name for its new 2013 thrill ride: SpinCycle. The 104’ tall giant spinning ride exhibiting 3 ½ Gs and will reside in the park’s Coaster Alley complimenting the award winning Aftershock, Tremors, Timber Terror and Panic Plunge rounding out this already renowned array of exciting rides. The SpinCycle name was suggested by Christopher Sanders (41 others later submitted the same name). Christopher and a guest will ride SpinCycle on its maiden voyage, he will be presented with a Gold Season Pass which gets the pass holder and two guests into Silverwood for the entire 2013 season and given a gift basket full of Silverwood items and memorabilia.
Silverwood will also add a family-fun ride named Barnstormer as seen on the right side of the photo above. Both rides are expected to open this spring and will be operating for the 2013 season.
The park shared the above photo of SpinCycle pieces on their Facebook along with the following caption: “Getting ready to leave Italy! This is just one of 5 containers that our ride is shipping in. Those are some BIG containers! Ride is scheduled to arrive at the park on April 15th!”

I think this name was really DUMB!! No offense but what kind of name is that i mean seriously?! Perplexity or Downstream Disturbance My friends suggested those names and they fit the ride much better than SpinCycle!! <——LAMEST NAME EVER! IM sorry i just disagree with name aand im just upset that my friends didnt win this cause deserved they have been through a lot and you dont even know how much it would of meant to them if they won! But i guess life goes on right?
