Ed Hart Renews Interest in Kentucky Kingdom

Ed Hart isn’t giving up hope that Kentucky Kingdom is unsaveable. According to Kentucky.com, Ed Hart is approaching the Kentucky State Fair Board once again with a proposal to reopen the shuttered former Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom park. The $40 million proposal would have Kentucky Kingdom reopen in time for the 2014 season. The board has yet to review the proposal, but one board member says that it will likely be considered.

A recent effort by the Koch (Holiday World) family was abandoned earlier this summer, and Ed Hart is now stepping forward once again to continue the efforts to reopen the park.

The park has remained closed since 2009.
