Delaware’s former coaster, Blue Diamond Streak, will be moved to Daytona Lagoon this year. The former park, Blue Diamond Park, was closed in 2008. The coaster will be located on the Boardwalk next to the Ferris Wheel.
According to the Roller Coaster Database, the coaster has an extensive history. It was first built at Adventure Park in Illinois in 1971 or 72, and then was moved to Legend City in Phoenix, Arizona in 1978. After that it was moved to DelGrosso’s Amusement Park in Pennsylvania in 1987, and finally to Blue Diamond Park in 2004.
