They aren’t wasting any time! Six Flags Great America has already begun the necessary ground prep work for its 2012 coaster, X-Flight:
Before too long a shiny red B&M wingrider will be flying through these parts!
These mounds of broken-up concrete might not look exciting now, but soon this area will be filled with concrete footers and later track.
Not too far from the X-Flight construction site, the task of dismantling Iron Wolf has already begin:
Crews have started tearing up the concrete footers.
The bolts have been removed… soon this track will be on its way to Six Flags America in Maryland.
