Professional video editor, Teddy Smith, got an approved tour of the shuttered Six Flags New Orleans which has been closed since August of 2005 due to extensive damage from Hurricane Katrina. He filmed the following video:
The cinematic atmosphere of the video contributes to the overall eeriness of the abandoned park. It’s incredibly unsettling to see the park in this bad of shape, but I assume 5 years of no activity will do that to just about anything. The video states that the park will be demolished in January of 2011 and sold for scrap metal.
