Orlando 2010: Disney’s Hollywood Studios Trip Report

Our next stop on our Orlando trip is Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The crowds were moderate throughout the day. I don’t believe lines for Rock n’ Rollercoaster or Tower of Terror were longer than 30 minutes at any point of the day, despite what the “expected wait” signs said!

The name has changed since I last visited the park but it’s great to see that the park hasn’t changed a bit.

Darn, we missed it by one day!

I was feeling a bit under the weather, but after picking up some medicine from the Crossroads kiosk I was good to go for the day!

I really wish the water tower was still this park’s icon. I still can’t warm up to this hat.

They sure placed Tower of Terror in a good location. Its intimidating looks and sounds only get closer and closer as you approach the ride from a lengthy distance away.

This coaster never fails to make the adrenaline rush.

No thanks, ABC.

Hey it’s half of Herbie!

Lights, Motors, Action has all the ingredients for a perfect show: fast cars, explosions, and water!

Looks like some Muppets got ahold of this building!

If you’ve never been to Mama Melrose’s before, I highly recommend it! The restaurant is tucked away in a corner but don’t let its looks fool you! The food is top-notch.

I think this is called product placement.

There is no dancing allowed on the backlot tour!

I’m still not brave enough to have my camera out during the “take.”

Midway Mania had the longest line throughout the day.

This attraction has really given life to this section of the park.

Goodbye and thanks for reading! Tomorrow we make our final stop of the trip at Animal Kingdom!
